Assassin's Creed Introduces Unexpected Attack on Titan Crossover for Holiday Season

In a surprising partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The storyline presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine group.

The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who finish the mission will receive an special katana together with numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
